A Day of Prayer for the MAC Region

Today is a special day of prayer for the missionaries and people groups within our Middle America and Caribbean Region. Each missionary is taking the day just for prayer and many churches have likewise been asked to pray for our area. If you would like to pray too I have some certain scriptures that you could pray over for us. (I am sorry if this looks funny. It is acting up on me for some reasonand I can't make paragraphs.) Deuteronomy 4:1-2 Pray that the people in our region will follow the Lord so that he can bless them with a better land. As they listen to His Good News may they not feel the need to add or subtract from it but may they see His great works and turn to Him! Proverbs 14:30-31 Pray that each missionary in this region would have a heart full of peace and life. Help us to always be kind to the poor living amoung us so that we may honor their Creator. Matthew 28:19 Pray for us to remember that, as IMB missionaries, we are here to make disciples and baptize in the name of Jesus. Ask that we would always remember that and that each day that would be our focus- to share the word of God. It is easy to get wrapped up in "good things" that aren't our focus. Habakkuk 1:5 Pray that each day we would be able to look around us and be amazed at what God is doing amoung our people groups. May we never grow complacent or "get used to" the things God is doing. May we never forget or get too busy to give Him the glory. Proverbs 3:5 Pray that we may always trust in the Lord and not look to our understanding. Ask that we would not grow weary when our plans don't seem to be what God plans for us. Psalm 67:3 Pray specifically for our people group and our work that we would be able to locate an area where God has yet to see a harvest. We would like to find a place where there is yet a church where we can start a new group. Ask God to lead us there. Pray is a vital part of the work that we do. Thank you for lifting us up today!
